DID YOU KNOW?
Habitat for Humanity is a hand up, not a hand out! Our partner families must contribute 300-500 hours working on their home (sweat equity), save a $1000 down payment AND purchase the home from Palouse Habitat for Humanity. Palouse HFH sets a zero-interest mortgage based on the cost of materials to build the home. Those payments help build the next home. Why no interest? Exodus 22:25 If you lend money to one of my people among you who is needy, do not be like a moneylender; charge him no interest.
Palouse Habitat for Humanity adheres to the letter and spirit of federal fair housing law.
