The Recycled Art Contest is a celebration of creativity, sustainability, and community, held at the Latah County Fair and proudly sponsored by the Palouse Habitat ReStore. Artists of all ages and skill levels are invited to transform recycled and reclaimed materials into original works of art.
This year’s theme is Garden Art — from sculptures to planters, we’re looking for DIY projects that bring new life to old materials and celebrate the beauty of the garden.
We invite individuals, families, classrooms, and community groups to take part in this fun and meaningful event. Whether you're an experienced artist or just love to create, the contest is a chance to showcase your imagination, promote reuse, and inspire others to see everyday items in a whole new way.

Josh will take participants on a tour of our ReStore, pointing out unique materials perfect for this year's Garden Art theme.
