Volunteer on the Build Site

Habitat volunteers of all skill levels are welcome on the build site during most phases of construction.

Typical volunteer jobs during the build include:

  • Dirt work: Site preparation, foundation, landscaping
  • Exterior work: Framing, roofing, siding, windows and doors
  • Interior work: Flooring, painting, finish carpentry
  • Specialized services: Experienced volunteers needed for plumbing, electrical, drywall and insulation work

Individual Volunteers:

Whether you volunteer with us for one day or many, you can help families own their own home by volunteering on the construction site.

Volunteer Regularly on the Build site:

Looking to volunteer regularly on the build site?  Join our mid-week “Codger Crew” group of regular volunteers who give their time, when available, on Thursdays and Saturdays.  Learn new skills and make new connections with a regular group of Habitat volunteers.

Bring Build Site Lunches

If you want to support our construction volunteers without swinging a hammer, you can provide their lunch instead! Whether it's homemade or purchased, it will be greatly appreciated. Fill out the interest form below (make sure to select "Lunch Provider") and we'll reach out to you with more details, including delivery instructions and the number of volunteers you will be serving.
