Other Ways to Volunteer
Can you help with website, marketing, grants, photography, or general office tasks? Do you want to improve relations with local churches? Can you help us find our next partner family? Want to support Habitat’s mission beyond the build site?
Office volunteers play a crucial role in keeping Palouse Habitat running smoothly. Whether assisting with administrative tasks, marketing, grant writing, photography, or general office support, there are plenty of ways to get involved. Use your skills to help with day-to-day operations and ensure Habitat can continue building homes, community, and hope.
We’re always looking for new ideas and a fresh perspective—if you have a skill or passion you’d like to share, let us know! Don’t see a role that fits? Contact us, and we’ll work to match your skills and interests with a meaningful volunteer opportunity.
Palouse Habitat offers opportunities for work experience. This could be on the build site, at the store, or in the office. For example, students interested in marketing or communications could apply for the Communications and Marketing Internship, ReStore Social Media and Marketing Internship, or Beans 'n' Jeans Internship. For more information, please check out our Apply - Jobs & Internships page.
Don't see what you're looking for? Contact us and we will do our best to craft a position just for you. Internships can be tailored to meet the student's time and experience needs.
Want to help spread the word about Palouse Habitat’s work? Outreach volunteers connect with the community to raise awareness, build relationships, and bring more people into our mission. This could mean working with churches, businesses, speaking to community groups, or finding new ways to get people involved.
Do you love getting out into our community and connecting with people? Community event volunteers help represent Palouse Habitat and the ReStore at local events, sharing our mission while getting more people involved.
Volunteers might walk in a parade like the University of Idaho Homecoming Parade or the 4th of July Parade, help run a booth at a community day or fundraiser, or assist with local efforts like Christmas for Kids. Other opportunities include working at community yard sales, donation drives, or outreach events where we spread the word about affordable housing and how the ReStore supports it.
Community events are a fun and flexible way to support Habitat—join us in making an impact!
