PHFH weekly update, 12/14/2021
So far, Alternative Giving Market of the Palouse has raised over $25,000 for nonprofits on the Palouse! Online giving for the event will close on Saturday the 18th. Give at agmpalouse.org/shop.
We’ve raised over $5000 from Avenues for Hope! Donating to us at avenuesforhope.org makes us eligible for prizes – stay tuned on our social media to see what we can win.
Construction/Home Repair Update:
There are three work days scheduled this week.
Wed 15 Dec: Meet at the south warehouse at 0900. We will install an aluminum ramp in Lewiston, along with a small crew from the LC Valley Habitat. Lunch on our own.
Thurs 16 Dec: Work starts at the Hansen home at 0900. Continuing work on the siding; dress for cold weather. Lunch on our own.
Sat 18 Dec: Continue work on the Hansen home siding, starting at 0900. Lunch on our own. The dedication of the Leaseburg home is at 2 PM; we are all invited and encouraged to attend.
Winter is here, and driving conditions may be poor. Please drive with care, and it’s much better to be late, or even not to come, rather than take chances.
This week, the Surplus Sale will be open regular hours Wednesday-Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM for shopping and donating at 304 North Main in Moscow. 208-883-5246 for questions on shopping or donating.
The Palouse Habitat office is open 10:30 to 2:30 Monday through Fridays at 306 North Main in Moscow.
