Palouse Habitat Update for 5.2.2022 with recent photo of future homeowner, Kyle Hansen, working on his home!
Construction/Home Repair:
Good morning all;
There is one scheduled work day this week.
Thursday 5 May: We will be wrapping up construction activities at the Hansen house, with work starting at 0900. It is Cinco de Mayo, so we expect a gourmet Mexican lunch provided by Chef Stradley. There are a few codgers who are temporarily out of commission due to physical injuries – if you are in this category come anyway for lunch!
Palouse Habitat Surplus Sale is open Wednesday-Saturday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at 304 North Main in Moscow for shopping and donating. Do you know any University of Idaho or WSU students moving out this month? Tell them to donate furniture, lamps, desks, dorm refrigerators, rugs, etc. to our store to help build future Habitat homes!
The Palouse Habitat office is open Monday-Friday 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM at 306 North Main in Moscow. If you haven’t picked up your Beans ‘n’ Jeans items, contact the office before you swing by to make sure we have your item ready for you and someone is available to help you with pick-up. Idaho Gives starts today and runs through Thursday, May 5 at https://www.idahogives.org/organizations/palouse-habitat-for-humanity. One of our goals for Idaho Gives is to qualify for the Surpass the Past prize drawing so we need to have 36 unique donors this year giving the minimum donation of $10 each to qualify.
