PHFH weekly update, 6/28/2022
Palouse Habitat update for June 28th: Make sure to get your shopping done on Wednesday and Thursday, because the Surplus Sale and our office will be closed for the extended Independence Day weekend, July 1st-4th. Enjoy the holiday!
Construction/Home Repair Update:
Good morning;
There are two scheduled work days this week.
Wed 29 June: Meet at the south warehouse at 0800. We will install an aluminum ramp in Colfax. Lunch on our own.
Thurs 1 July: Work starts at 0800 at the Martinez build site; foundation work – footing forms. Lunch on our own.
No Saturday work; enjoy the Independence Day holiday weekend. Summer weather is here. We’ll be working in direct sun so dress appropriately and stay hydrated.
UPDATE: No work on Sat. 2 July has been scheduled, on the assumption that many people have other plans. However, if you are available and able to work on Saturday, please notify Dave Ostrom.
Surplus Sale Update from Store Manager Eldon:
Hey everybody!
We had a GREAT week. A couple of >$1600 days, and we met our fiscal year goal of $200,000! I am very proud of the work we have done to pull this off! I am also not sure how easy it will be to follow it up, but I am gonna give it a try!
Also, remember that we are only open Wed. and Thur. this week. I hope everyone gets some quality holiday time.
The Palouse Habitat office is open 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM Monday-Friday but with the summer staffing can vary so call ahead at 208-883-8502. The office will be closed Monday, July 4th.
