We’re Hiring: Development Director
Palouse Habitat for Humanity is seeking a full-time Development Director to lead our fundraising and donor engagement efforts. This position is key to ensuring sustainable support for building safe, affordable homes and expanding our Home Repair program in Latah and Whitman counties.
About the Role
The Development Director will:

Design and implement a comprehensive development plan.

Cultivate and steward relationships with donors, businesses, churches, and foundations.

Lead major fundraising strategies including annual giving, grants, legacy gifts, corporate sponsorships, and community support.

Manage successful fundraising events such as Beans ‘n’ Jeans.

Oversee donor communications, stewardship, and data management through our CRM system.

Support staff, board, and volunteers in donor engagement.

Represent Palouse Habitat in the community through outreach and media opportunities.
Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in fundraising, sales, or related fields.

Demonstrated success cultivating donor or client relationships.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Comfortable with public speaking and community engagement.

Proficient with donor management systems and Microsoft Office 365.

Bachelor’s degree required.
Preferred: an established donor portfolio ($100K+) and experience fundraising on behalf of low- to moderate-income individuals.
Compensation & Benefits

$65,000–$70,000 per year, DOE
