Palouse Habitat Update 6.14.2021 and Happy Flag Day!
Palouse Habitat Construction/Home Repair Update:
Good morning all;
There are 2 workdays scheduled this week, Thursday and Saturday.
* Thursday 17 June: Work starts at 0800 at the storage site and 0900 at the Uniontown build site. Lunch will be provided. Geofoam will be loaded up to use in the crawlspace of the Hansen home. Volunteers will also be fire taping the Leaseburg garage ceiling, finishing the code required sheetrock in the garage, and tiling the bathrooms and utility rooms. Lunch will be provided by board member Nancy Tribble with RE/MAX Connections of Moscow, ID – thanks, Nancy!
* Saturday 19 June: Work starts at 0800 at the Uniontown build site. Lunch on our own. We have rented a bobcat and Dave will be backfilling the Hansen home foundation. Work will be at the
Hansen home helping to level the drain rock, place fabric, and compact the soil. When we finish this we will have reached a
major milestone and can begin the next phase by transferring donated materials to the Uniontown site during the week of the 21st.
Palouse Habitat office will be open Monday-Friday 10:30 to 2:30.
