Construction/Home Repair Update for Monday, July 12th:
Good morning all;
It appears that hot weather will persist, and air quality can fluctuate rapidly due to smoke from wildfires, so please be prepared: dress appropriately, stay hydrated, and take frequent breaks (no heroes allowed!). There are 4 scheduled work days this week; work begins at 0800 each day.
Wed 14 July Meet at the south warehouse at 0800. We will be doing porch repairs and painting in Moscow. Lunch on our own.
Thurs 15 July Work starts at the Uniontown build site at 0800. We will be working on the Hansen home crawl space and garage floor. We will have a guest crew from Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Moscow and lunch will be provided.
Fri 16 July Meet at the south warehouse at 0800. We will install an aluminum ramp in Kendrick. Lunch on our own.
Sat 17 July Work starts at the Uniontown build site at 0800. We’ll be readying for cabinet installation in the Leaseburg home and if necessary continuing work at the Hansen home. Again, we’ll have a guest crew from Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Moscow and lunch will be provided.

We can’t wait to welcome Fairfield volunteers back to Palouse Habitat for Humanity! Fairfield Inn in Moscow, Idaho is a longtime Habitat supporter, volunteering regularly on the build site and sponsoring our annual fundraiser Beans ‘n’ Jeans.
Palouse Habitat office will be open Monday-Wednesday 10:30 to 2:30. They office is closed Thursday and Friday, July 15th and 16th, but some staff are working remotely on those days so you can email habitat@palousehabitat.org if you need assistance.
The Palouse Habitat Surplus Sale is open Wednesday-Saturday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at 304 North Main in Moscow. Enjoy the newly expanded hours! New volunteers are needed to help keep these expanded hours going – anyone able to volunteer Thursday afternoons or Friday mornings? Mark your calendars for “Christmas In July” at the store with 50% off all items (except yellow tags) going on July 21-24th and tell your friends!
