Palouse Habitat Update for Monday, September 13th – How many codgers does it take to install a closet door? Pictured are Tom, Dan, and Roger working on the Leaseburg home last week.

Construction/Home Repair Update:

Good morning all;
There are three work days scheduled this week.
Wed 15 Sep: Meet at the south warehouse at 0800. We will install a wooden modular ramp in Moscow in the morning, and possibly a small (threshold) ramp in Moscow in the afternoon. We are short-handed a bit, with folks traveling etc – so please consider coming out even for a short time. Lunch is on our own.
Thurs 16 Sep: Work at the Uniontown site starting at 0800. We expect to be setting trusses at the Hansen home, so hard hats are required (bring your own or check one out at the site). We want a full crew, so incentives for everyone to come out include: 1. lunch will be provided and 2. the work may be filmed, so here’s a chance to be a star.
Sat 18 Sep: Work at the Uniontown site starting at 0800. We expect to continue roof work on the Hansen home. Lunch on our own.
Weather changes or other events may occur, so watch for updates.

Habitat Office is open 10:30 to 2:30 Monday through Fridays. Applications for the next Habitat home are available at palousehabitat.org/apply or by stopping by 306 North Main in Moscow, emailing habitat@palousehabitat.org, or calling 208-883-8502. Applications are due October 4th; the next home will be built in Moscow.

The Palouse Habitat Surplus Sale is open 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Wednesday through Saturday. We are hiring truck drivers – check out https://palousehabitat.org/about/careers/ to apply. Know any college students that want a part-time job?
