Palouse Habitat Update for 10.11.2021 with Saturday picture of the Codger Crew installing roof wrap on the Hansen home and “greenies” required by the StrongTie roof grant. A shout out to the Latah County Community Foundation for funding the safety railing to keep our volunteers safe on the build site!

Build Site/Home Repair Update:
Good morning all;
There are 3 work days this week:
Wed 13 Oct Meet at the south warehouse at 0900; we will do porch repair in Pullman. Lunch on our own.
Thurs 14 Oct Work begins at 0900 at Uniontown. We will be working on both the Leaseburg and Hansen homes, so plenty to do. Lunch on our own.
Sat 16 Oct Work begins at 0900 at Uniontown – same as Thursday. Lunch on our own.
Looking ahead: Next week we’ll flip the usual Wed and Thurs work schedules. Since the Lewiston Firefighters Local 1773 will be at Uniontown on Wed 20 Oct to continue the tradition of installing shingles on the Hansen home, so we can also continue work on the Leaseburg and Hansen homes as usual (everyone on the ground needs to wear a hardhat), so a full crew will be wanted. We’ll install the wheelchair ramp in Garfield on Thursday.
