Construction and Home Repair Update:
Good morning;
There is one scheduled work day this week.
Thursday 13 Jan: We plan to install a ramp in Deary. We’ll meet at the south warehouse at 0900; lunch on our own. Please email me if you plan to come or if you want more information.
Notes:
1) Work on the Hansen house is suspended while the plumbers and electricians perform their tasks. We don’t know just when we will continue our work, but it likely will be a few weeks.
2) Next week (Monday and Tuesday) we are planning to retrieve a large wheelchair lift from Kamiah ID, and deliver it to St John WA. Details will be in next week’s schedule.
Palouse Habitat Surplus Sale will be open regular hours Wednesday-Saturday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at 304 North Main in Moscow. Call 208-883-8502 to schedule a donation truck pick-up.
Store Manager Eldon’s Update: “Happy New Year everyone! Our first week of the new year and we had to shut down on Thursday for a storm! Sales have been understandably slow when we were open. We are slow on pickups until we get the truck back next week. Besides, with this weather, I am reluctant to send anyone out in it. Mike and I did a bunch of upgrades in the Furniture Annex over the break, be sure and stop in to see! I am currently looking for plant starts that we could grow in the annex. Let me know if you have an easy to grow plant that will flourish in all of that sunlight. Have a great weekend and we will see you next week!”
The Habitat office will be open Monday-Friday 10:30 to 2:30. Please call ahead before stopping by on Wednesday as staff may be out for meetings for a portion of the day.
