Palouse Habitat Update for the week of 1/24/2022 – Beans ‘n’ Jeans is 3 months away! We’re already starting to see donations for the auction roll in. Be prepared for our first live event in 2 years on Saturday, April 16th, and another online silent auction that lasts from April 8th to 16th.
Construction/Home Repair Update:
Good morning;
There is one work day scheduled this week:
Wed 26 Jan: We will install an aluminum ramp in Diamond, WA. Meet at the south warehouse at 0900; lunch on our own. If you want more information, email or text (208) 301 1124.
There is no work scheduled this week at the Hansen house. Plumbing rough-in is done, electrical rough-in is in progress, HVAC is pending, and then inspections before we continue work. We don’t know exactly when we can continue but we’ll keep you informed.
Palouse Habitat Surplus Sale Update:
Hello all! I guess it’s about time to come out of hibernation and give an update!
We had our first $1000 day of the year last week, but sales are still a little sluggish. The Annex was pretty thin, but the truck went out Thursday and Saturday, so we’re starting to pick up more stock again.
I want to have a volunteer meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 1 @ 3:00 pm. I will be baking treats for the meeting, so be sure to show up. I was gonna try to hold a candle to Dave O’s brownies!
The store will be open regular hours: Wednesday-Saturday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at 304 North Main in Moscow. Call 208-883-8502 to schedule a donation truck pick-up.
