Palouse Habitat weekly update, 2/28/2022

Palouse Habitat Update for 2.28.2022 with picture from Thursday of busy bee Habitat volunteers finishing the drywall on the Hansen Home in Uniontown:

Construction/Home Repair Update:
Good morning;
There are two work days scheduled this week.
Thursday 3 March: Work begins at the Hansen house at 0900, continuing interior work. Lunch on our own.
Friday 4 March: Meet at the warehouse at 0900 to install a ramp. Lunch on our own.
Saturday 5 March: Same schedule as Thursday.
Watch for updates, if there are any schedule changes.
UPDATE 1: You probably are not surprised that we have just received an urgent request for a ramp. We don’t have all the details yet, so it’s not certain that we can accommodate the request – but we should have all the info we need by Wed, and if we can do it, we will install the ramp on Friday. Brent will keep you informed, and it will help if you will let him know if you will be available Friday.
Last week, Palouse Habitat Home Repair crew retrieved an aluminum ramp on Feb. 23rd that had been used by a family south of Potlatch, watch for pictures and a post soon.

Palouse Habitat Surplus Sale is open Wednesday-Saturdays 10 to 5 at 304 North Main in Moscow. There is a volunteer/staff meeting tomorrow and regular volunteers should have it on their calendar to attend. Part of the ongoing discussion will be on required mask wearing at the store, so stay tuned for further updates on our social media for any changes to the current policy. A shout out to new volunteer, Trinity, who has taken over Transformational Tuesday posts and volunteering regularly to post on our Buy & Sell Facebook group.

Palouse Habitat office is open Monday-Friday 10:30 to 2:30 PM at 306 North Main in Moscow. Beans ‘n’ Jeans items are coming in fast and furious! A huge thanks to Juliana and Camryn for all their hard work to enter and photograph auction items.
