Construction and Home Repair:
Good morning;
There are three work days scheduled this week. At this time of year many folks are traveling, entertaining family, etc – so the number of volunteers is lower than usual. For this week, would you please answer this email indicating which day or days you intend to work? If the numbers are unbalanced we may ask you to try to rearrange your schedule. Thanks!
Wed 24 Aug Meet at the south warehouse at 0800. We will continue adding rails and pickets to a residence in Troy.
Thurs 25 Aug Work at the Martinez build site starting at 0800; continuing framing and sheathing walls.
Sat 27 Aug Continue work at the Martinez build site starting at 0800. Lunch will be provided.
Report from Eldon, Store Manager: “We are having some great days in the store this month, and this week was full of them. Saturday saw sales of $2042.89! And with seven more shopping days this month, I think we will probably on track to meet our monthly goal! Outstanding work everyone! The next Staff Meeting will be Aug. 30th at 2:00. Lots to cover.” Eldon’s weekly summary email says staffing for volunteers this week looks great, but next week he needs help. Volunteer at palousehabitat.org/volunteer and fill out a Volunteer Interest form. The Surplus Sale is open Tuesday-Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM at 304 North Main in Moscow.
